Czech hockey fans are about to be treated to another star fight. After the successful match in Slovakia and the sold-out O2 arena in February, we have prepared a continuation of the exhibition match of the legends, this time in their home ground - Litvínov. The charity match took place on August 19 at the Ivan Hlinka winter stadium.

A number of former stars, led by Litvínov striker Robert Reichl, took the opportunity to put on a hockey jersey again and get on the ice. Litvínov's team of players included Michal Neuvirt, Radek Duda, Viktor and Jaroslav Hübl, František Lukeš, Ondřej Kaše, Kristian Reichel, Radek Duda, Jakub Lauko, Tomáš Pavelka, Filip Pavlík, Jan Myšák, Karel Kubát, Martin Škoula or Jiří Šlégr.

A team of Czech legends stood against the Litvínov selection, which was represented by Jan Hlaváč, Patrik Eliáš, David Výborný, Jiří Tlustý, Tomáš Vlasák, Filip Hronek, Lukáš Krajíček, Martin Nečas, Jaroslav Hlinka, Martin Procházka and Jaroslav Nedvěd. Football goalkeeper Petr Čech stood in his usual position.

Like the two previous events, the August match was also a charity one. The proceeds went to the account of the Czech Philharmonic Foundation and the support of youth hockey in the club HC Verva Litvínov.

A charity golf tournament called Legends on the Green took place on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at our oldest golf course, the Royal Golf Club in Mariánské Lázně. The tournament had a bigger dimension than the sports one, the entire profit went to charity. As the organizing agency Eniva, we want to establish a tradition of meeting sports legends with the zeroth year of the tournament, this time in Mariánské Lázně.

"We firmly believe that by establishing the tradition of Legends on the green, we will be able to collect the necessary amount for aid every year with our collective efforts, we will enjoy an unforgettable day in great company and in the beautiful nature of Mariánské Lázně." for the organizing agency Andrea Bársony.

The best-known names of top Czech sports Jakub Voráček, Jan Železný, Pavel Kuka, Vladimír Šmicer, Ivan Hašek, Petr Mrázek, Jakub Nakládal, Martin Nečas and the brand new implementation team of the National Hockey Team Radim Rulík, Jiří Kalous, Marek Židlický and Ondřej Pavelec.

Twenty-five years have passed since the historic triumph of the Czech ice hockey players at the 1998 Winter Olympic Games in Nagano in February 2023. The Czech ice hockey players celebrated this extraordinary anniversary with an exceptional moment – on February 10, they met their Slovak counterparts in Prague's O2 arena. We experienced a unique fight and an emotional reminder of one of the most famous moments in the history of Czech hockey.
